Housing Foundation Purchases Wesley Park
The Gene B. Glick Family Housing Foundation has purchased Wesley Park, a 72-unit community in Auburn, Indiana. Located north of Ft. Wayne in DeKalb County, Wesley Park provides Section-8 apartment homes for elderly and disabled residents.
“We continue to be opportunistic in our efforts to acquire quality properties, both on behalf of the Gene B. Glick Family Housing Foundation and on the market-rate side of our business,” said President and CEO David Barrett. “Wesley Park is as close to a Glick-quality affordable property as we have seen. It will fit nicely into our portfolio.” Wesley Park is the third acquisition for the Housing Foundation. In 2008, the Foundation purchased Hampton Court in Indianapolis and Loper Commons in Shelbyville, Ind.
