Juneteenth, officially celebrated on Thursday, June 19, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. • Miami: Enjoy Virginia Key Beach Park’s Juneteenth Beach Bash a space for families and community members to honor the significance of Juneteenth and to enjoy an afternoon of beachside activities on Saturday, June 14.

Georgia

• Savannah: Join other community members at Daffin Park for the “Unity in Fireworks” show, with additional activities and performances throughout the evening of Thursday, June 19 and the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, June 21.

Illinois

• Indianapolis: Gather at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the Indy Juneteenth Celebration, where there will be a kid's zone, wellness circle, food trucks, vendors and live performances on Saturday, June 21.
• Muncie: Acknowledge the past and inspire the future while having fun at the 6^th Annual Juneteenth Muncie Celebration, a free, outdoor event with food, raffles, games, live entertainment and more on Saturday, June 14.
