Celebrating National Nonprofit Day

Today, as we celebrate National Nonprofit Day, we want to recognize Glick Philanthropies, a family of charitable initiatives, programs and organizations focused on building community and creating opportunity.

Glick Philanthropies’ mission is to increase equitable access to quality affordable housing and transformative opportunities for every member of our community. Through a family of charitable initiatives honoring the legacy of Eugene & Marilyn Glick, Glick Philanthropies focuses on grantmaking and community leadership in central Indiana and communities where Gene B. Glick Company properties are located.

  • The Glick Housing Foundation aims to preserve and expand quality affordable housing that supports lifelong resident success.
  • The Glick Family Foundation and donor-advised funds at the Central Indiana Community Foundation and Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis prioritize grantmaking to organizations providing equitable arts & creative expression opportunities, closing access and achievement gaps in education, improving connectivity to basic needs & opportunities for economic mobility, and strengthening the Jewish community & cultural life in Central Indiana.

Since 1982, Glick Philanthropies has awarded more than $275 million to charitable causes building community and creating opportunity.

We are proud of the Glick family’s commitment to building community and creating opportunity in the places where the Glick company operates. To learn more about the work of Glick Philanthropies, visit
