Gene B. Glick Company Hires Ceceily Brickley as Director of Resident Success

The Gene B. Glick Company hired Ceceily Brickley for its new Director of Resident Success position. In this role, she will focus on how the Gene B. Glick Company and Glick Philanthropies can develop and expand strategies that support residents through its Service Coordination (SC) Program, resident success centers and efforts to help vulnerable populations.

“One of Glick’s core values states that we will enhance the lives of our residents by serving them with respect, care and dignity,” said Ryan Brady, Vice President of Glick Philanthropies. “The creation of the Director of Resident Success role and the selection of Ceceily Brickley cements our long-standing commitment to creating transformational opportunities for our residents.”

The SC Program, which Glick started in 2010, serves more than 60 Glick communities. Through dedicated Service Coordinators, Glick meets residents where they are with targeted support, from ensuring formerly homeless veterans have a sense of community to helping displaced workers find employment. Ceceily will work closely with this team to further improve quality of life for residents.

Prior to joining Glick, Ceceily served as Sr. Director of Member Services with Indiana United Ways, the state association for local United Ways in Indiana. She has focused her career on community development, grant management, program development and evaluation, coaching and consulting.

In addition to her professional experience, Ceceily is an active community leader. She currently serves as a board member for Renew Indianapolis, a civic member for Indy CREW, a Starfish mentor, a Women’s Build team leader and committee member with the Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity, and a board chair for the Indianapolis Freedom School Partnership.

“Glick’s vision for supporting resident success aligns with my passion for housing and community empowerment,” said Ceceily. “My personal mission and professional background position me to support the Glick team in meeting residents where they are with the advocacy, information and resources they need to live lives of dignity.”

In 2020, Ceceily was recognized as a finalist for Junior Achievement’s Indy’s Best and Brightest and the Center for Leadership Development’s Minority Achievers. She graduated from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a Master of Public Affairs in Public Financial Management, Public and Non-profit Management. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and African American & African Diaspora Studies from Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
