As a Leasing Consultant at Archer’s Pointe in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Derrick is motivated by his coworkers who strive to create a positive and memorable living experience for residents.

“I have been inspired by everyone at my property throughout the years,” Derrick shared. “Each one has been instrumental in helping me to be better not just at my job, but in life, as well.”

When asked what has kept him with Glick, he said, “The professionalism of the corporate office, the respect and genuine care for each property’s employees, and the opportunities for advancement.”

Throughout Derrick’s time at Glick, his role has changed in line with altering trends, prospect needs, and the global climate. He shared that COVID-19 led to the use of in-unit virtual tours.

“Zoom tours have become the norm and email leads have increased far more now than ever,” Derrick said.

Both within his role and outside of work, Derrick enjoys devoting time to helping the less fortunate.

“Do unto others as we would like done unto us,” he said. “We all could very well be in their shoes.”
