In celebration of Glick’s 75th Anniversary, we are featuring some of our long-tenured employees who have helped make Glick the impactful company it is today.

Hoping to make a positive impression and impact in the lives of others is what drives Jon Mercer, a Maintenance Supervisor at Hathaway Court in Kentucky. Jon joined the Glick team 15 years ago and worked his way through various maintenance positions and properties. With each transition, Jon found opportunities to help others through his work.

Jon shared that he has felt a great connection to the property, its residents, and the community at Hathaway Court. His team members are one of his biggest motivators:

“I feel like I am valued as an employee and get to work with an awesome team at Hathaway that appreciates and supports me. This helps me be able to give back to the community and volunteer.”

Outside of work, Jon volunteers at the Vineyard Christian Church in Florence, working with the grocery food ministry, feeding the homeless, completing special projects around the church property, supporting the children’s ministry, and more. He also volunteers twice a year at Red Bird Mission and puts his skills to work to help with disaster relief efforts whenever possible.
