Q: How did you get started with the Glick Company? Why have you stayed?
A: I started as an assistant manager when moving back to the Midwest from San Diego. I had been working for a property management company in San Diego and happened to come across the job posting. At the time, I had not heard of the Glick Company, so I started doing some research on the property that was open and the company itself. The reason I have stayed with the Glick Company is the level of dedication to excellence that is present. I am inspired to be better each and every day and learn from things that take place. The company pushes for excellence and growth, and I have stayed because the development and growth opportunities are what push me to improve.

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for Glick. Why was it so memorable?
A: A memorable moment I have had with the company revolves around the bonds formed with peers and customers. When going through renovations at one of the properties I was at, our team made sure to communicate all the information needed for residents. Each one of them was grateful and thanked the team at the property for the diligence and attention we all gave to them. The reason this was so memorable was because it shows how you can make an impact on a situation with a kind word to others.

Q: Describe the Glick Company in one word.
A: Compassionate

Q: What has surprised you most about working for Glick?
A: Working for the Glick Company has taught me many things, and what has surprised me the most about working here is the amount one person can affect other people and how willing so many people are to make a difference. The health and well-being of people can be attached to the quality of service we provide for them. We have a lot of people working for this company who make it their daily mission to have the best effect on others they can.

Q: Talk about someone at Glick who really influenced your time with the company.
A: One person who stands out in my thoughts is my previous Regional Property Manager Cindy Bane. Cindy was compassionate and caring in all aspects of her approach. She listened and always worked to come to a common resolve that worked on all facets of the property. I work each day to be a positive and productive support structure to my team members because she was so influential in being that structure for me. When promoted into the regional position that I am currently in, even though she is no longer with the company, she took the time to email me and let me know how proud she was of me, which meant so very much to me.

Q: Why would you tell someone to work for Glick?
A: Dedication to excellence. The support and guidance you can benefit from is something you don’t find at many companies and, therefore, working for Glick is something truly amazing. The relationships and bonds you can build can truly change your outlook on going to work each day.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: Spend time with my two children, who are 12 and 7 years old.

Q: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
A: Mint Chocolate Chip

Q: What is your favorite book?
A: Time to read normally results in falling asleep — so the last book I read was “Persuasive Negotiation.”
