Carla became a Glick team member in October of 2013 after her youngest child started school and she was looking for a new challenge. Her family, and her work family, keep her motivated to come to work each day.

Carla has had many great experiences at Glick. A favorite memory of hers took place back in 2014, during her first Day of Caring. She worked with her team to help an elderly couple manage their very overgrown backyard. Despite the freezing rain throughout the day, Carla loved that they were able to help and remembers, “They were so thankful! It was a great experience!”

She also appreciates her team at Williamsburg on the Lake, especially their maintenance supervisor, Jon. “He has worked on this property for 20 years and all the residents just love him,” said Carla. “I can call on him, even if it is just to help the resident understand their thermostat. He truly cares and you can see that every single day.”

When she’s not working, Carla enjoys baking and watching movies with her family. They recently bought their first house, and she’s been enjoying testing out her green thumb in the garden.
