As summer sets and leaves begin to fall, we are thrilled to spotlight Marketing Specialist Char Alexander, former Assistant Property Manager of Somerset Lakes and newest member of the Glick Marketing Team! Throughout her career, Char’s passion for serving others has helped neighbors find housing, opportunity, and a place to call home.

"A wise man once asked me, 'When you die, what kind of impact will people say you had on this earth?' I can honestly say that in the 13 years I've been in this industry, I have helped thousands of families find housing and opportunities in their communities.”

Over the years, Char has learned valuable lessons about communication, empathy, and building strong relationships. When asked what advice she would give someone considering a career in property management, her response was simple:

"Be the change you want to see! Remember, nine times out of ten, the person isn't upset with you, they are upset with the situation, and transparency is key."

Char credits much of her professional growth to the support and encouragement of those around her, especially one mentor who has consistently been a trusted resource.

"Nicole Beverly has always been a shoulder to lean on, whether it’s for personal guidance or help at work. Whenever I'm unsure about something, she's there to answer questions, offer guidance, and help me find a solution. Why ask Google when I have Nicole!"

Char’s passion for helping others extends beyond her work life. She recently helped rescue five baby ducklings trapped in a storm drain! When she’s not lending a hand, Char enjoys arts and crafts, talking about food, spending time with family, and tackling a good puzzle, as long as it's fewer than 500 pieces.

Char, your empathy and dedication to helping others reflect Glick's purpose. Thank you for your dedication to making positive change for our residents, communities, and teammates. We are grateful to have you as part of #TeamGlick and the Marketing Team!
