We are excited to feature Courtney Livers for this December’s team member spotlight. Courtney joined Team Glick one year ago and works as an Employee Relations Specialist at the Corporate Office. Courtney tells us what she enjoys most about her role at Glick.

“I enjoy helping and supporting our managers and employees and work through whatever challenges come their way.”

Courtney attributes her success to teammates and mentors like Lisa Rees, Vice President of Human Resources at Glick.

“Lisa’s guidance and direction has been instrumental this past year. She shares wisdom from her past experiences and helps me apply it so I can perform more independently.”

For those who may be interested in a role like Courtney’s, she offers this advice:

“Be prepared to build relationships with people while juggling multiple tasks, staying consistent, and following company policies. You must have a genuine care for helping and getting to know people – it makes the role much more rewarding. Staying organized, asking for guidance when needed, and being open to learning can help you be more successful.”

One of Courtney’s favorite memories in her role was her volunteer experience at Gleaners Food Bank.

“Our team sorted through a large amount of food to distribute to our community.”

When she’s not at work, Courtney enjoys being a foster parent; baking and decorating treats; or watching and rooting for women’s sports teams like the Indiana Fever.
