Q: What is your current title at the Gene B. Glick Company?
A: I am a senior digital media specialist.
Q: Where do you work (location-wise)?
A: I work in the marketing department at the corporate office.
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: I’ve been with Glick four years.
Q: What do you do in your role?
A: I manage our websites and advertising channels, run campaigns to send traffic to our sites, manage our online reputation and a bunch of smaller things in between.
Q: What part(s) of your job do you like the most?
A: I love managing our websites and running campaigns to send traffic to them.
Q: Why did you want to work at Glick?
A: My previous company was unstable, so I was really looking for a growing company that had established roots in Indianapolis. Glick seemed like the perfect place!
Q: What has surprised you the most about working at Glick?
A: It has been surprising to see the lengths that people will go in order to grow at Glick. I have never worked somewhere where people are willing to change their roles, titles, departments, etc., just to stay and grow at a company.
Q: Where are you from originally?
A: I’m from a small town in northwest Indiana called DeMotte.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I like to spend time with my family and friends, craft for my side business, work out, listen to podcasts and read.
Q: What would surprise Glick team members about you?
A: It would likely surprise most Glick team members to know how much I like a good DIY project. My power tool collection is always growing and I’m not afraid to use them!
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
A: I would love to travel to Alaska and see the northern lights.
Q: What is one item on your bucket list?
A: I would love to learn how to surf.
Q: Do you live life by any certain motto or philosophy?
A: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”
