To kick off the new year, we are putting the spotlight on Frank Ferconio, a Real Estate Development Manager at our Corporate Office. Frank recently celebrated his six-year anniversary with the Glick team! For him, the right balance of challenge, mentorship, and rewarding work has kept him here since 2018.

“As someone who is early on in my career, my biggest priorities have been to grow as an individual, surround myself with people from whom I can learn a wide range of knowledge, and do work that has a real impact. Glick has been able to provide all of those things.”

Glick is dedicated to bettering the communities we serve, and we know Frank’s contributions will have both an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of our residents.

“I truly believe that Glick’s emphasis on placing its residents first is among the best in the industry. Knowing that I had a part in bringing thousands of additional families under that umbrella, and that those residents could remain under the stewardship of Glick for decades to come, makes the smaller day to day frustrations completely worth it.”

Frank has made countless memories in his time at Glick, and it is no accident that some of his favorite ones are when team members near and far all get a chance to be together.

“Some of my favorite memories at Glick have come from the few Leadership Conferences I have been able to attend. I love getting to see the different personalities of the Team Members scattered across the country, and being able to put faces to names in less formal settings.”

Being part of a team allows teammates to uplift one another, provide perspective to navigate challenges, and celebrate successes together. One teammate in particular has impacted Frank in all these ways.

“I have been most inspired by Janine Betsey in my time at Glick. With the work that we do, it is easy to get lost in the broader scale of the physical assets or numbers on a piece of paper. However, in all of my interactions with her, Janine always reminds us to zoom in on the impact of every decision we make.”

Outside of working at Glick, Frank believes golf is a great game to get involved in and his new year resolution is to join First Tee.
