11 1/2 Years with Glick
Q: How did you get started with the Glick Company?
A: I spent 20 years in the laborers’ union working all over the tristate area, and I was looking for a job that would keep me home more often. A friend told me about a supervisor position at Cambridge Square of Covington. I got an interview there and was hired!
Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for Glick.
A: While installing a hot water heater at the property about 11 years ago, I met a resident at Cambridge named Miss Jennings. Miss Jennings is visually impaired — so I don’t know if it’s the sound of my voice or what — but whenever I come down the hall and knock on her door, she says, “I’m coming, Jon.”
Q: Describe the Glick Company in one word.
A: Distinguished
Q: What has surprised you most about working for Glick?
A: The amount of tenure employees have at the different properties and in the Gene B. Glick company as a whole
Q: Why would you tell someone to work for Glick?
A: The Glick Company is just an overall great company — it’s as simple as that!
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I like to hunt and spend time with my wife.
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
A: New Zealand to hunt the red stag
Q: What celebrity would you trade lives with for a day?
A: LeBron James
