5 1/2 Years with Glick

Q: How did you get started with the Glick Company? Why have you stayed?

A: The company where I previously worked outsourced the entire HR department in 2012. Just a week later while searching for a new position, I came across the posting for a human resources administrator at Glick. After reading the job posting, it seemed the perfect balance of what I loved about the HR world. After just one phone interview, I knew Glick was the place I was meant to be!

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for Glick. Why was it so memorable?

A: Being HR … I can’t really answer this one … confidentiality and all. ?

Q: Describe the Glick Company in one word.

A: Family

Q: What has surprised you most about working for Glick?

A: I think what has surprised me the most about Glick is how fast I felt included and “part of the family.” From my first week here, I felt like I had already been here for years. While there was a learning curve to the job itself, the people made me feel so welcome and a part of something bigger.

Q: Talk about someone at Glick who really influenced your time with the company.

A: One of the people who has really influenced me at the company is Holly Holm. Not only did she train me when I started, but she has been a constant mentor along my Glick journey. She’s someone I can always turn to with questions or bounce ideas off of, whether it be work-related or personal.

Q: Why would you tell someone to work for Glick?

A: Working for Glick is truly an amazing experience. Not only do you feel like you’re part of a family when you go to work, but you feel good knowing the company you work for cares for not only their employees but also the communities where they are located.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: Spend time with my husband and two children. Now that it’s warm again, the zoo is our favorite weekend hangout.

Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

A: Italy. I love the history and Old-World charm it offers.

Q: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

A: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!
