This month, we are celebrating LaSonya, our Leasing Consultant at King’s Landing Apartments. Despite this property being one of Glick’s more recent additions, LaSonya and her team have quickly made it an important part of the Glick family. When asked about what keeps her happy in her role, LaSonya finds joy in the purpose behind it.

“[King’s Landing Apartments] was purchased almost a year ago by Glick. Over the year, what has kept me working for Glick is that the company is very big on helping people. Being able to help residents, especially the elderly ones, is what keeps me motivated. Also knowing that I’m helping someone make King’s Landing Apartments their new home.”

LaSonya spends her time in and out of the office helping support her neighbors when she is able. When she isn’t tuning into the needs of her property residents, she enjoys volunteering at her church.

There are many people who have been with LaSonya on her career journey that have left a substantial impact on her both personally and professionally. She thought of one team member in particular who has inspired her and guided her since her first day.

“My property manager, Amanda Daughtrey, has helped me from day one since I started at King’s Landing Apartments. Even during our transition from our previous management company to Glick. The way she handles her job and goes above and beyond to make sure our property is kept looking spectacular, making sure our residents and future residents are happy has inspired me.”

LaSonya had a big first experience with Glick, and for her, being able to travel and meet more colleagues stands as a special favorite memory.

“My favorite memory of my time at Glick is going to Indianapolis for training. It was my first time ever riding a plane.”
