Q: How did you get started with the Glick Company? Why have you stayed?
A: I was looking for growth in a company I could trust. I heard about Glick through a job search program, and the more I read and learned about the company, the more excited I became. I did a drive-thru of the property before I met for my interview and instantly knew this is where I wanted to be. I haven't regretted one moment. I found the trust I was looking for in a company as well as longevity, respect and a sense of "belonging."

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for Glick. Why was it so memorable?
A: One of my most memorable moments here at Cambridge Square Apartments happened when a group of residents contacted the home office (without our knowledge) and, with their help, presented me and my staff with Certificates of Appreciation. I had been here about two years and truly knew at that moment that my team does make a difference. There were a lot of tears when that was presented to us.

Q: Describe the Glick Company in one word.
A: Home.

Q: What has surprised you most about working for Glick?
A: I was not expecting a company that listens to its employees to the extent that Glick manages to do. I believe Glick strives in being proactive, honest and fair with their employees.

Q: Talk about someone at Glick who really influenced your time with the company.
A: Terri Owens, my Regional Property Manager, has been a huge influence on me during my time with Glick. She has pushed me beyond what I believed I was capable of and helped me trust in myself. I give her so much credit for giving me the strength and confidence to reach the level of quality that my team and I have accomplished. She's been there for me professionally and personally. She's "on it."

Q: Why would you tell someone to work for Glick?
A: I tell everyone I meet they need to work for Glick because of how much they care about their employees and because of the wonderful benefits that come with the job, such as health care, bonuses, PTO accrual, wellness programs, volunteer programs, etc.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I spend most of my free time taking care of my son. He's a 34-year-old adult with a brain injury he suffered in a car accident when he was 15. He is my only child and keeps me laughing with his sense of humor. I also spend weekends helping my mother with household chores and groceries.

Q: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
A: I make ice cream out of avocado, cocoa, stevia and frozen bananas. Oh my gosh ... it's so yummy!
