Glick National Dog Day
Today is National Dog Day and at Glick we are happy to have an excuse to celebrate the irreplaceable bond we have with our furry friends. As the paws-itive energy of today sweeps through our office, we’re thrilled to share some tail-wagging submissions from the Glick team. With over 45 heartfelt entries, our team has poured their love for furry companions into words, photos, and anecdotes, and we’ve pulled out a few examples below. From heartwarming rescue stories to hilarious facts, the below submissions capture the essence of our four-legged friends!
Happy Dog Day to all who know the special love of a four-legged friend!
Daisy
Daisy is a sweetheart and rarely ever barks, in fact, her owner has counted a total of 3 barks since they adopted her about a year ago! She likes to spend her time napping, snuggling, lying in the hammock outside, and making sure she knows what her owner’s up to by following her around the house.
Holly
Holly’s favorite song is “Who Let the Dogs Out!” Holly has been with Amy since she was a puppy, and she loves her pool and beach time – wherever there is water, that is where Holly will be. Holly loves dress up and has a variety of costumes. Her favorite toy is a stuffed Santa Claus.
Grogu
Like many of us, Grogu loves treats! His favorite is anything that has peanut butter included. He is energetic and lively, excited every time he gets ready to go on a walk. His most favorite thing to do is go to the local Pug Club community gatherings.
Arlo & Astraea
This is a cuddly, vibrant duo! Arlo and Astraea both were adopted as small puppies, growing up together with Taylor. Arlo is a handsome, shy boy who loves to show affection, and Astraea is a loud, energetic pup who likes to keep things on the move! One thing these two can agree on is that chasing squirrels is their favorite activity to do together.
Valentino (Val)
Val was adopted when he was four months old from a local shelter, and he has been a part of Samantha’s family ever since. When he was adopted in February, they noticed the coloring around his nose was in the shape of a heart – hence the name Valentino! Val likes to keep an eye on things, and one of his favorite hobbies is observing what’s outside through the window. When he has a moment of free time, he likes to play with his best dog friend, Duncan.
