Glick Shines at Apartment Association of Fort Wayne Summit Celebration

On March 24, the Apartment Association of Fort Wayne-Northeast Indiana hosted its annual Summit Celebration, an awards ceremony honoring dedication to the AAFW-NEI and excellence in the multi-family housing industry.

It was a night recognizing many distinguished individuals in the industry, and the Gene B. Glick Company was well-represented among this year's nominees and winners.

Winners included:

Angela Peoples (Carriage House Kendallville) - Manager of the Year

Deanna Storms (Archer's Pointe) - Assistant Manager of the Year

Jim Sparkman (Carriage House Kendallville) - Maintenance Technician of the Year

Congratulations to all our winners!

A competitive fundraising event along with a silent auction raised money to benefit two charities, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana and Erin's House for Grieving Children.

Culminating in a crowning ceremony, the fundraising event recognized the King and Queen who had raised the most money on an individual level.

Congratulations to Kim Becker from Carriage House in Kendallville, who was crowned Queen.

The event raised more than $10,000 for the two organizations.

"It feels wonderful to give back to our community and be a part of such an amazing association," said Glick Regional Property Manager Marla Rumschlag. "We are truly honored to continue the giving spirit. That is what sets Glick apart from everyone else."
