Glick Stands With Ukraine

The impact of the Russian aggression in Ukraine has been swift and far-reaching. More than four million Ukrainians are now refugees, a number that has grown each day as this senseless and inhumane war continues. Like the rest of the western world, I have watched the news with a deep sense of hopelessness and disbelief.

We have a number of Ukrainian team members and residents who still have friends, family and personal ties to their native country, and in the 1990s, Gene and Marilyn Glick were personally involved with the resettlement of many Russian Jews fleeing the Soviet Union to central Indiana. A few of Glick’s properties in Indiana still house large populations of these refugees.

With Gene and Marilyn’s commitment to justice front of mind, Glick Philanthropies has made a $25,000 grant to the Jewish Federations of North America to support the Crisis in Ukraine Fund.

Additionally, Glick Philanthropies will be offering a Glick Gives 2-to-1 match on all team member contribution match requests to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

Glick will continue to look for ways to support those impacted by this conflict. May we all unite in the hope for a quick and peaceful resolution to this war and for the restoration of a free and independent Ukraine.
